Artist Profile: Portugal 2019 – Conan Osiris

This year, Portugal is represented by Conan Osiris. Conan Osiris’ real name is Tiago Miranda and was born on 5th of January 1989, in Lisbon, Portugal. Conan’s stage name is a combination of the main character’s name in the Japanese show “Future Boy Conan” and the Egyptian god Osiris.

In 2010, he got his degree as a graphic designer. Two years later, he started working in a well-known Portuguese sex shop in the capital of Portugal. He kept his job until 2018 when his second album became a success.

His first album came out in 2016 and by the end of 2017, his second album was available. In 2019, he won his country’s national final with the song “Telemoveis”. The song has already reached the 10th place on the Portuguese charts.

The interesting about Conan is the fact that he is a self-taught singer, songwriter, producer and dancer.

Portugal performs 15th in the first semifinal.
