National Final Reminder: Kostas Bigalis & Mirella Fragkopoulou – Let Me Be The One!

We continue the National Final Reminder with something from 2002. Today, we will travel to Greece.

Greece back in 2002 decided its representative through Ellinikós Telikós. Ten songs participated in the final of the national selection.

The song “Let Me Be The One” was one of those 10 songs performed by Kostas Bigalis & Mirella Fragkopoulou. The song placed 4th in the final.

Kostas Bigalis

Kostas Bigalis was born on 15 March 1953 in Athens, Greece. He is an established singer and songwriter in Greece. He started his career at the age of 19, when he singed with a record label. He has released a number of studio albums. In 1994, he represented the country in Eurovision with the song “To Trehandiri”. The entry placed 14th with 44 points. Kostas Bigalis has also taken part in operas like the Greek version of “Jesus Christ Super Stars” (1979).
