
This Saturday, the second semifinal of the Norwegian national final will take place.
Four songs will compete in order to win one ticket for the final.
How it works
On each semifinal, the four competing entries allocating in two duels. The winner of each duel will continue to the second phase of the show. The remaining two will once again sing their songs and a new voting will determinate the winner. Only one will be qualified to the the final. Although, the three non qualified entires will still be able to hope for qualification at the Second chance round.
The Norwegian national final this year will consist of four semifinals and one second chance show. At each semifinal – including the second chance round – a prequalified to the final artist will present its entry. A total of 10 entries will compete in the final.
Lily Löwe – Bad Baby
Lily Löwe is the stage name of Lill Sofie Wilsberg, a 26-years-old singer and songwriter from Eidskog. Except of a singer she is also a costume designer and make-up artist. She currently works on her debut album. On MGP stage she will sing along with Trond Holter, Marius Viken and Bernt Jensen.
Steffen Jakobsen – With Me Tonight
Steffen Jakobsen is from Grimstad, Norway. He is a country singer. He competed in the 2013 version of Norwegian Idol, where he placed 3rd. He has released two studio albums – his debut in 2009 and his second one on 2013.
Farida – Dangerous
Farida Bolseth Benounis or simply Farida is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her career started in 2016, when she released her first two singles. Her MGP participation will be her first.
Daniel Lukas – Kvelertak
Daniel Lukas Kalelic or simply Daniel Lukas was born in Oslo, Norway. He is better known for his participation at the junior version of MGP in 2013. He comes form a musical family and he is surrounded by music his entire life.
Christian Ingebrigtsen – Wonder Of The World
On the second semifinal, Christian Ingebrigtsen – one of the prequalified acts – will present his song!
Christian Ingebrigtsen is a Norwegian singer and songwriter having a successful career both as a solo artist and as part of the boyband A1. Is noteworthy that the band has also won a Grammy Award. In the past he has co-composed song for Eurovision national finals including Ulrikke’s “Attention” in 2020.
