ESC 2022: Meet Stefan From Estonia!

This year Estonia selected Stefan as its 2022 Eurovision representative. Stefan Airapetjan or simply Stefan was born on December 24, 1997, in Viljandi, Estonia to Armenian parents.

From a young age he took vocal lessons and competed in kid’s contests. In 2018, he competed for the first time in the Estonian national final for Eurovision, Eesti Laul, as part of the duo Vajé, placing 3rd in the superfinal. The same year, he released his debut solo single – the first single of the duo Vajé was released in 2017. In 2019, he took part in Eesti Laul as a solo and placed again 3rd in the superfinal, while in 2020 he managed to reach the final. In 2020, he also took part at The Masked Singer Estonia and won.

Earlier this year, he took part again in Eesti Laul and won the whole show with his song “Hope”.

His entry is composed by Stefan Airapetjan and Karl-Ander Reismann.

The song will perform 12nd in the second semifinal.
