Svitlana Serhiivna Loboda, better known as Loboda, is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter that was born on October 18, 1982, in Irpin, Ukraine. She is an established artist with 3 studio albums, 1 Live album, 1 EP and many singles. Her music has been charted in many countries of the former Soviet Union, including Ukraine and Russia.

In 2009, she was selected to represent Ukraine in Eurovision. Her entry “Be My Valentine” qualified to the final, where it placed 12th with 76 points.
