
Chanel released her new single “La Estrella Azul”, which means “The Blue Star”. The song is from the new live-action adaption of “Pinocchio” that streams on Disney+. Chanel was chosen to record the song for the Spanish version of the movie.

Chanel Terrero Martínez or simply Chanel was born on July 28, 1991 in Havana, Cuba.
At the age of three, she moved to Spain, where she grew up. As a child, she took singing, acting and ballet classes and by the age of 16 she took part in musicals. In order to participate in a variety of musicals she moved in Madrid. As an actress she has appeared in a variety of tv shows and films.
Earlier this year, she competed in the Spanish national final for Eurovision and won the show. Therefore she gained the right to represent Spain at ESC.
Her Eurovision entry “SloMo” was composed by Arjen Thonen, Ibere Fortes, Keith Harris, Leroy Sánchez and Maggie Szabo. It is noteworthy that the song toped the Spanish charts, whilst entering the charts in many European countries.
Spain was prequalified in the Final, where it placed 3rd with 459 points, making it the best Spanish entry since 1995.
