
EBU announced the complete list of this year’s Junior Eurovision’s participants, along with slogan of the contest.
According to EBU a total of 16 countries will participate in the upcoming Junior Eurovision event. The number is slightly down from last year’s 19 participants. First of all, Russia is no longer an EBU member, thus cannot take part. Germany withdrew after the Federal Foreign Office of the country propose so, due to the ongoing conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Moreover, Azerbaijan doesn’t come as a surprise that decided to not participate. Lastly, Bulgaria will not return without any formal explanation.
On the other hand, the 2022’s Euovision 2nd placed, the United Kingdom, decided to make a comeback for the first time since 2005.

Along with the participating countries, the official logo of the contest was announced! “Spin The Magic” is the motto of the contest!
