Alvaro Estrella and Danny Saucedo released their new single “Havanna”. The single is composed by Alvaro Estrella, Angelino Markenhorn, Danny Saucedo, Jacob Henriksson, Jonas Persson, Marcus Bergman and Martin René Falkebo.

Alvaro Estrella

Alvaro Estrella was born 14 August 1980, in Stockholm, Sweden. His full name is Alvaro Raul Estrella Zapata and he is of Chilean origin. He debuted in Melodifestivalen in 2014, with the song “Bedroom”. Back then he finished 7th in his semi and therefore didn’t reach the final. He has appeared in the Swedish national final as a dancer in a number of times. Alvaro has also been the backing vocalist and dancer in several Eurovision entries – Sweden 2011, 2017, Russia 2016. In 2020, he participated in Melodifestivalen along with Mendez. The two artists sang “Vamos Amigos” and placed 11th in the final.

He returned to the Swedish music festival twice as a solo act, in 2021 and 2022, with “Bailá, Bailá” and “Suave” respectively. His 2021 entry placed 10th in the final, whilst “Suave” was eliminated in the Semifinal.

Danny Saucedo

Danny Saucedo was born on February 25, 1986, in Stockholm, Sweden. He is an established singer and songwriter with many hits in his discography.

He rosed to fame in 2006, when he competed in the Swedish version of “Idol”. Between 2007 and 2011 was part of the boyband E.M.D., along with Erik Segerstedt and Mattias Andréasson. The is returning to the Swedish national final. The band during its existence released three studio albums and in 2009 it competed in Melodifestivalen, reaching the third place in the final.

Danny have participated three more times in the Swedish national final, but as a solo artist. In 2011 and 2012 he came 2nd on both occasions. His most recent attempt was in 2021, with his entry placing 7th. It is also noteworthy that in 2013 he was, along with Gina Dirawi, host of Melefest.

In his career, he has released 4 studio albums, all of which were successful in the Swedish charts.
