An update about the Luxembourgish national final!

Luxembourg will return in Eurovision and its entry will be selected through a national final. According to the Head of Eurovision at RTL, Dave Gloesener, the public will have a say on the show!

Luxembourg will return to ESC after 30 years of its last participation. The country had a long history at the contest having competed in 37 editions and won on 5 occasions. The most recent victory of the country was in 1983 with Corinne Hermès and her song “Si la vie est cadeau”.

The country will organise a national final in order to select its next participant. The show will take place on January 27, in Luxembourg. In order to compete in the national final you have to be at least 16 by the time of the show and to have either a Luxembourgish nationality or have lived in the country for 3 years.
