RTP, the Portuguese Public Broadcaster confirms participation for Eurovision 2024!

Portugal has confirmed its participation in ESC and announced that the entry will be selected through Festival da Canção as usual. Twenty songs will compete in the national final into two semi-finals. RTP will invite 14 writers and 6 entries will be selected from an open submission phase.

Last year, Mimicat represent the country with her entry “Ai Couração”. The entry placed 23rd in the final of ESC.
