Marina Satti Released New Single “Epano Sto Trapezi”!

Marina Satti released her new single “Epano Sto Trapezi”, meaning “On the table”. The song is composed by Anastasios Tsordas, Marina Satti, Mikros Kleftis and Oge.

Marina Satti was born on December 26, 1986, in Athens, Greece.

Her father is Sudanese and her mother is Greek, a mixture that is evident throughout her music career. She started taking piano lessons at a young age. After graduating high school, she enrolled to study architecture and simultaneously she took acting lessons. She eventually didn’t graduate from the architecture department and went to the USA, having a scholarship for the Berklee Music College.

She started her career in Greece, right after she completed her studies. In 2011, she starred in a Greek TV series. Her first single was released a couple of years prior to these in 2008. Her first song to gain attention of the public was the song “Koupes” in 2016. A year later, she made her breakthrough with her song “Mantissa”. Until the release of her debut studio album she appeared in a number of musical projects.

In 2024, she was internally selected to represent Greece at Eurovision. Her entry, “Zari”, which means “Dice”, was composed by Gino “the Ghost” Borri, Jay Lewitt Stolar, Jordan Richard Palmer, Konstantin Plamenov Beshkov, Manolis “Solmeister” Solidakis, Marina Satti, Nick Kodonas, Oge and Vlospa.

It is noteworthy that the song topped the Greek charts and it was certified diamond. The song entered the charts of Lithuania, the Netherlands and Switzerland. At Eurovision, Marina placed 11th with 126 points.

After her participation, she released an EP “P.O.P.”, which topped the local album charts.
