Sweden 2025: Melodifestivalen – Guide For Heat 2!

Sweden’s national selection method continues tonight. The show will last 6 weeks – 5 Heats and a Final. During the four Heats, we will see the 30 acts but only 12 will make it to the final.

Heat 2

Six acts will try to win one of the two tickets for the Final. The one who will place third will have a second chance, at the end of the 5th Heat.

1. Nomi Tales – Funniest Thing

Nomi Vanessa Nicolina Bontegard, or better known is Nomi Tales was born on December 28, 1996 in Sweden. She is a singer and songwriter. She released her debut single in 2021 and today she has released a number of songs.

2. Schlagerz – Don Juan

Schlagerz is a Swedish trio. The band consists of Sandra Estberg, Maria Rolf and Maria Persson.

3. Erik Segerstedt – Show Me What Love Is

Mats Erik Segerstedt or better known as simply Erik Segerstedt was born on April 20, 1983, in Uddevalla, Sweden. He is a singer and songwriter.

He rose to fame through his participation in the Swedish version of Idol in 2006, where he placed 3rd. He was also a part of the Swedish boy band E.M.D., which broke up in 2010.

He has participated twice in the national final. As part of E.M.D. he participated in 2009, where they played 3rd in the final. In 2013, he competed along with Tone Damli. This time he reached the second chance round.

4. Klara Hammarström – On and On and On

Klara Lovisa Hammarström was born on April 20, 2000 in Stockholm, Sweden. She is a bronze European athlete in horse riding. Her family appeared at the television show “Familjen Hammarström”. More recently, she has focused on her musical career. In 2020, she debuted at Melodifestivalen with her song “Nobody”. Her entry didn’t reach the final and was eliminated in her semifinal. The following year, she competed again. Her entry “Beat Of Broken Hearts” this time reached the final and placed 6th. The song also managed to reach the 10th place in the Swedish charts. In 2022, she competed again in the national final with the song “Run To The Hills” and placed 6th.

5. Fredrik Lundman – The Heart of a Swedish Cowboy

Fredrik Karl Olof Lundman or simply Fredrik Lundman was born on Februar 14, 1992, in Piteå, Sweden. He si a singer and songwriter.

In 2011 he auditioned for the Swedish version of Got Talent. In the same year he auditioned for the Swedish version of Idol. Ten years later he auditioned again for Idol and this time managed to placed 5th.

6. Kaliffa – Salute

Kaliffa Olle Karlsson simply known as Kaliffa was born December 20, 1979, in Tyresö, Sweden. He is a singer and songwriter. In the past, he his single “Helt seriöst” reached the 2nd place in the Swedish charts back in 2017. He is also a member of Hoffmaestro, a Swedish band which dates back in 2005.
