Sweden’s national selection method continues tonight. The show will last 6 weeks – 5 Heats and a Final. During the four Heats, we will see the 30 acts but only 12 will make it to the final.

Heat 3

Six acts will try to win one of the two tickets for the Final. The one who will place third will have a second chance, at the end of the 5th Heat.

1. Greczula – Believe Me

Kristofer Niklas Greczula or better known as Greczula, was born on February 27, 1992 in Sweden. He is a singer and songwriter. He released his debut single in 2017. He has also participated in Allsång på Skansen in 2022. Tonight he will make his debut in Melodifestivalen.

2. Malou Prytz – 24K Gold

Malou Trasthe Prytz, or simply Malou Prytz was born on March 6, 2003 in Småland, Sweden. She is a singer and songwriter, starting her career in late 2018, when she was announced as a participant of the 2019 edition of Melodifestivalen. At the show, she sang the song “I Do Me” and qualified directly to the final, where she placed 12th. However, the song reached the 10th place in the Swedish charts. The following year, she competed again, this time with the song “Ballerina”. Her entry reached the second chance round, but didn’t make it to the final. Her first EP was release in 2019. In 2022, she competed again “Bananas”, but didn’t make it to the next phase.

3.Björn Holmgren – Rädda mig

Björn Holger Holmgren, or simply Björn Holmgren, was born in July 31, 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a singer, songwriter and social media creator. In 2016, he competed in the Swedish version of the Idol, however, he rosed to fame through his social media accounts. Tonight, he will compete for the first time in the Swedish national final.

4. Dolly Style – YIHAA

The girl band Dolly Style is coming to Melfest for its fourth time. They have previously attempted in 2015, 2016 and most recently in 2017. It is noteworthy that none of the original members is still in the group.

5. Angelino – Teardrops

Angelino Gabriel Markenhorn or simply Angelino was born on February 15, 1998 in Malmö, Sweden. He is a singer and songwriter. He plays a number of instruments including the guitar and the piano. His music style is folk-pop. In 2021, he released his first EP.

He debuted in the contest in 2022 with his song ”The End”.

6. Annika Wickihalder – Life Again

Annika Viktoria Wickihalder Pettersson a.k.a. Annika Wickihalder was born on January 25, 2001 in Switzerland. She is a Swiss-Swedish singer and songwriter. She rose to fame through her participation in the Swedish version of Idol, where she placed 3rd. Last year, she debuted in Melodifestivalen with her song ”Light”, placing 8th in the final.
