Sweden 2025: Melodifestivalen – Guide For Heat 4!

Sweden’s national selection method continues tonight. The show will last 6 weeks – 5 Heats and a Final. During the four Heats, we will see the 30 acts but only 12 will make it to the final.

Heat 4

Six acts will try to win one of the two tickets for the Final. The one who will place third will have a second chance, at the end of the 5th Heat.

1. Andreas Lundstedt – Vicious

Björn Helge Andreas Lundstedt, or simply Andreas Lundstedt, was born in May 20, 1972, in Uppsala, Sweden. He is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He started his career from a young age, being part of the group Stage Four. In 1998, he become one of the originals members of the legendary Swedish group Alcazar. The group is popular not only in Swedish, but throughout Europe with songs like ”Crying At The Discoteque”.

Andreas is a Mello expert having participate a total of 9 times; 5 times with Alcazar (2003, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2014) and 4 times a solo artist (1996, 1997, 2007, 2012). Tonight will be his 10th participation.

In 2006, he was chosen along with other 5 artists (all from different countries) to represent Switzerland as a group called Six4one. The group placed 16th with 30 points in Athens with the song “If we all give a little”.

2. Ella Tiritiello – Bara Du Är Där

Ella Nellie Tiritiello or simply Ella Tiritiello was born on August 26, 2006, in Sweden. She is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She has released two EPs and a studio album (2023). Tonight she will debut in Melodifestivalen.

3. Tennessee Tears – Yours

Tennessee Tears is a duo that consists of Tilda Feuk and Jonas Hermansson and was formed in 2014. The duo has released multiple singles in the past. Their Melodifestivalen participation debut was in 2023, when they reached the semifinal.

4. KAJ – Bara Bada Bastu

KAJ is a Swedish speaking Finnish group. The members are Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman och Jakob Norrgård – the name of the band derives from the initials of their members. The group released its first album was released in 2012, whilst the most recent one came out in 2024. The group is known for singing in the Ostrobothnian Swedish dialect.

5. AmenA – Do Good Be Better

Amena Abdulelah Ahmed Alsameai, a.k.a. AmenA, was born on June 2, 2001, in Yemen. He is a singer and songwriter. She is known for competing in the Swedish version of Idol in 2021, where she placed in the 9th place. She released her first single in 2023, whilst her debut album came out a year later. Tonight she will debut in the national final.

6. Måns Zelmerlöw – Revolution

Måns was born on 13th June 1986, in Lund, Sweden. His full name is Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw. He became famous in his country, through his participation at the music show Idol, in 2005, where he finished fifth. The same year, he competed at the Swedish dance show Let’s Dance, where he won. In 2007, he competed for the first time in the Swedish national final with the song “Cara Mia”. He managed to qualify for the final and finished third. He competed again in 2009, with the song “Hope and Glory”, finishing 4th. In 2015, he returned with “Heroes”, this time not only won the national final but also Eurovision. Except for singer and songwriter, he is also a TV presenter. He has been the host of a variety of programs, more notably Melodifestivalen 2010, Eurovision 2016 and Eurovision: You Decide (2018-2019).
