KAJ win Melodifestivalen 2025!
After six weeks and 30 songs Melodifestivalen 2025 has a winner. KAJ with their song ”Bara Bada Bastu” won! Now, they will represent Sweden in Basel, Switzerland, in May. This is the first fully non English song the country sends in the contest since 1998. We have to note that in 2009 Malena Ernman represent Sweden with an English-French song ”La Voix”.
KAJ – Bara Bada Bastu
KAJ is a Swedish speaking Finnish group. The members are Kevin Holmström, Axel Ã…hman och Jakob NorrgÃ¥rd – the name of the band derives from the initials of their members. The group released its first album was released in 2012, whilst the most recent one came out in 2024. The group is known for singing in the Ostrobothnian Swedish dialect.
KAJ managed to qualify for the final and won the show!
