SVT, the Swedish public broadcaster, announced that this year’s final of Melodifestivalen will have an English Commentary.

The international audience of the most exciting national final will be able for the first time to watch it with English narrating. It is noteworthy, that the contest is already available with Swedish subtitles and in the Swedish Sign Language.

Commentators of the Melodifestivalen will be Bella Qvist and Olivia  Le Poidevin. Bella Qvist is journalist and works on the Swedish public radio and Olivia  Le Poidevin is also a journalist and radio host on BBC.

Sweden becomes the second county this season to broadcast its national final with English commentary, after the Finnish UMK.
