Sweden’s national selection method continues tonight. The show will last 6 weeks – 5 Heats and a Final. During the four Heats, we will see the 30 acts but only 12 will make it to the final.

Heat 5

Six acts will try to win one of the two tickets for the Final. The one who will place third will have a second chance, at the end of the 5th Heat.

1. Arvingarna – Ring baby ring

Arvingarna is an established Swedish band from Gothenburg that was formed in 1989. The band consists of Casper Janebrink, Lars Larsson, Kim Carlsson and Tommy Carlsson. They have participated six times in Melodifestivalen and actually won it one! In 1993, they won the show and finished 7th in Eurovision. Their most recent participation at the national final was in 2021 where they placed 9th in the final of the show. Tonight they return!

2. Arwin – This Dream of Mine

Arwin Saman Ismail Osman, a.k.a. Arwin, was born on December 29, 2007, in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a singer, songwriter and actor.  His career began when he released his debut single in 2023. Tonight he will debut in Melodifestivalen.

3. Saga Ludvigsson – Hate You So MUCh

Saga Alice Ludvigsson was born on February 3, 2006, in Örby, Sweden. She is a singer and songwriter. In 2019, she competed in the Swedish version of Got Talent, where she reached the final. In 2023, she competed in the Swedish version of the Idol, where she placed 2nd. Throughout the years, she has released a couple of singles. Tonight she will debut in Mello.

4. Victoria Silvstedt – Love It!

Karin Victoria Silvstedt was born on September 19, 1974, in Sweden. She is an actress, singer, model and television host. She has released a couple of singles and an album. In the past have said that singing is just a hobby for her, but this year she will debut in the Swedish national final.

5. Vilhelm Buchaus – I’m Yours

Vilhelm Fredric Buchaus was born in September 29, 2001, in Sigtuna, Sweden. He is a signer and songwriter. He performed in television for the first time in 2013, when he competed in the kids version of Melodifestivalen., Lilla Melodifestivalen. The following year he competed again as part of the boyband Skyscraper. Tonight, he will debut in Mello.

6. Scarlet – Sweet n’ Psycho

SCARLET is a Swedish heavy metal duo, which formed in 2018. The duo consists of Scarlet Hunts and Thirsty. They have released a number of singles, whilst their debut album was released in 2020. Last year, they debuted in Melodifestivalen with their song ”Circus X”. At the show, they reached the second chance round.

Second Chance

Tonight, right after the 5th heat, the Second Chance round of Melodifestivalen will take place. All the 2nd placers of the second voting of all the heats will try to win a ticket for the final.

One more artist will be added to the list by the end of tonight’s heat.
