The Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS announced the artist that will represent the country in 2020’s contest.

It was announced that Jeangu Macrooy will represent the host country to the upcoming Eurovision event!

Jeangu was born in 1993, in Suriname. He started playing the guitar at the age of 13. In 2014, he moved to the Netherlands, where his musical career was boosted. He has appeared on a TV show in the Netherlands and he has been nominated for an Edison Award – very prestigious Dutch music awards.
