The Sammarinese broadcaster, SMRTV, announced the artist that will represent the country in 2020’s contest.

It was announced that Senhit will represent the country to the upcoming Eurovision event!

Senhit is familiar with the contest. In 2011 San Marino selected her as its representative. Back then she performed Stand By in Düsseldorf and finished 16th in the semifinal, with 34 points. She is an Italian singer with Eritrean roots.

Freaky Vs. Obsessed

Despite the fact that everyone believed that San Marino will internally select its song, now you can vote for your favourite. From 7 March (tomorrow) at 9 CET until the midnight (CET) 8 March, you will be able to vote on the artist’s site between Freaky and Obsessed. The result will be revealed on 9 March on Official Eurovision YouTube Channel.

Last year, the country was represented by Serhat. Both the artist and the song were selected through an internal selection. His song “Say Na Na Na” placed the 19th in the final with 77 points. That makes it the best place for the country and only its second qualification to the final!
