
We continue the National Final Reminder of 2020 with something from Armenia.
Armenia selected its representative through Depi Evratesil, for the third time.
The song “What’s Going On Mama” was Vladimir Arzumanyan’s entry to the contest. The artist placed 9th in the international jury and 7th in the Armenian jury. In contrast Vladimir won the televoting. The entry placed 3rd after all. The song was composed by Martin Mirzoyan and Grigor Kyokchyan.
Vladimir Arzumanyan
Vladimir Arzumanyan was born on 26 May 1998, in Artsakh. He is a singer better known to his country – and the rest of Europe – about his victory on the 2010 edition of the junior edition of the Eurovision. In 2010, he represented Armenia in the contest with the song Mama. His entry finished first in a field of 14 and with a margin of just one point to the second placer Russia. That was the first and only until today victory of the contest to any Eurovision event.
