Festivali i Këngës 2021: The List Of Participants Announced!

More information about the upcoming Albanian national final!

The Albanian public broadcaster released the names of the 20 artists that will participate in Festival i Këngës!

  8. Janex

  12. Mirud
  13. Olimpia Smajlaj
  14. Rezarta Smaja
  15. Ronela Hajati
  16. Sajmir Çili
  17. Shega
  18. Urban Band
  19. Viola Zhemali
  20. Xhuliana Pjetra

In the list you can see a number of artists that return at the music festival like Mirud, Ivi Reçi and Rezarta Smaja.

Festivali i Këngës

Festivali i Këngës is an annual Albanian music festival that this year celebrates its 60th anniversary. The show had not connections with Eurovision prior to its 2003 edition, when it selected the representative of the country for 2004. Since then, Albania has never missed the contest and its year Festivali i Këngës has been used as its national final. It is noteworthy, that in 2015 only the artist was selected through the national selection.

Festivali i Këngës 2021

The festival will begin on December 27 and will conclude on December 29. The two semifinals will take place between 27 and 28 of December, whilst the final will take place the following day.

Albania in 2021

Albania, last year, was represented by Anxhela Peristeri and her song “Karma”. The powerful ballad qualified to the final, where it placed 21st with 57 points.
