Tusse Released His New Single “I Wanna Be Someone Who’s Loved”!

Tusse released his new single “I Wanna Be Someone Who’s Loved”. The single is composed by Filip Bekic, Irya Gmeyner and Tusse Chiza. The song is from the second season of the original Swedish Netflix series “Young Royals” (for more info scroll down), which is available for streaming today!

Tusse was born on January 1, 2002, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His full name is Tousin Michael Chiza.

He moved to Sweden as a refugee, where he moved in Kullsbjörken. In 2018, he competed in the Swedish edition of Got Talent, where he was eliminated at the semifinals. In 2019, he competed in the Swedish version of Idol and won the whole show. In 2021, he competed in the Swedish national final, Melodifestivalen, and won with a margin of 57 points from the second placer.

His entry “Voices” was composed by Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt and Anderz Wrethov, topped the Swedish charts and was certified platinum. At Eurovision it placed 14th in the final with 109 points.

Young Royals

The series follows the life of fictional Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding) and his romance with his fellow student Simon Eriksson (Omar Rudberg). You can watch the season 2 trailer bellow!

Omar Rudberg is also known in the Eurovision community by competing three times in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national final for Eurovision, one time as part of FO&O and two times solo. His most recent Mello participation was in 2022 with the song “Moving Like That”.
