The Swiss broadcaster, SRF, announced the artist that will represent the country in 2020’s contest.

It was announced that Gjon’s Tears will represent the country to the upcoming Eurovision event!

Gjon’s Tears is the artistic name of Gjon Muharremaj is a Swiss singer with Albanian roots. He has competed in three television talent shows, in three different countries. He loves art and especially music. In 2018 released his first single “Babi”.

His song “Repondez-moi” was composed Xavier Michel, Alizé Oswald, Jeroen Swinnen and Gjon’s Tears.

Last year, the country was represented by Luca Hänni. Both the artist and the song were selected through an internal selection. His song “She Got Me” reached the 4th place in the final with 364 points, making the best result for the country in years.
