ESC 2023: Meet Blanca Paloma From Spain!

This year, Spain selected Blanca Paloma as its Eurovision representative. Blanca Paloma Ramos Baeza, or simply Blanca Paloma, was born on June 9, 1989, in Valencia, Spain.

After graduating from University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she moved in Madrid to pursue a career in theatre. In 2022, she took part at the revamped version of “Benidorm Fest”, which was used as the Spanish national final for Eurovision. Her entry, “Secreto de Agua” placed 5th in the final.

Earlier this year, she competed in the music festival again and this time she won. Her entry, “Eaea”, won and she gained the right to represent Spain at Eurovision. The song was composed by Blanca Paloma Ramos, José Pablo Polo and Álvaro Tato.

Spain is prequalified in the Final, as being a part of the Big-5. Although, Spaniards can also vote in the second semifinal!
